The Collective Agreements for Units 1, 2 and 3 expired on August 31, 2023. Since that time, we have collected data, prepared proposals, and begun bargaining. Despite our best efforts, we have not seen any significant progress so far at the bargaining table in any of our priority areas. In order for bargaining to be successful, we need to keep pressuring the employer to take our proposals seriously and respect the work done by our members at York.

NEXT STEPS: After our rejecting the Employer’s final offer we are holding an Emergency SGMM, February 22nd from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, for members to motion and vote on next steps, including striking. All members are strongly encouraged to attend and to register in advance. All meetings are on the calendar.
