Teaching Assistants, Contract Faculty, and Graduate Assistants represented by CUPE 3903 have voted to begin a strike on Monday March 5 at 12:01 am.

A forced ratification vote was held between April 6-9, and was rejected by an overwhelming majority by all three units. See the results here.

On Friday, June 15, Contract Faculty (Unit 2) opted to ratify a Memorandum of Settlement which ended the strike for this unit. See the results here.

On Wednesday, July 25, the provincial government enacted back-to-work legislation to curtail the rights of striking Unit 1 and Unit 3 members. See the statement here.
