Ontario college faculty members, represented by the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) have been on strike since October 15. A central issue in their bargaining is “Fairness for Contract Faculty.” CUPE 3903 supports striking college faculty in the spirit of solidarity, but also because their struggle is our struggle!
Let’s show our support by joining their picket line! Join us on Tuesday, November 7 for a solidarity picket for OPSEU local 560 college faculty at Seneca@York. We will be gathering at 12:30 in the CUPE 3903 office at 143 Atkinson before heading over to the picket line on Pond Road outside of Seneca@York. If you are coming late, you can meet us on the picket line.
