This is the third instance of a Workshop conducted by Julie Allen, VP Unit 2 &
LSTA, together with Kym Bird, YUFA & successful conversion, designed to answer
your questions, provide helpful hints, and offer feedback on the processes of
Conversion, LSTA, and Academic Job applications, all of which have essential
things in common. Short presentations are followed by Q & A, and informal
discussions of strategy, your hiring Unit “champion”, over-coming the
psychological barriers to application, as well as the checklist of documents that
properly belong to any Academic Job File. Attendance at prior instances of this
Workshop is neither required nor an impediment to attending this timely January
