The bargaining team served notice at the first opportunity because we know how much is at stake for 3903 members when it comes to equity, wages, and benefits. It took a week for the employer to acknowledge the notice to bargain. We have since followed up and confirmed a first meeting date of June 29th at 10am at 280N York Lanes.

CUPE 3903 operates under the principle of open bargaining. This means that all members are encouraged to attend any and all bargaining meetings to observe, pass notes to the bargaining team, and participate in bargaining team caucuses. We would love to kick off bargaining with members by our side either remotely or in person: watch the 3903 website for announcements confirming details regarding how to attend the June 29 meeting.
