Following an 85% Strike Mandate Vote, the Bargaining Mobilization Committee (BMC) has become the Strike Committee (SC). SC is tasked with the logistics of preparing for a strike. The SC will be electing a rank-and-file co-chair at this meeting.
The SC, as per the bylaws, includes members of the BMC, executive committee, and bargaining team. Additionally, any member who wants to get involved is welcome and encouraged to attend! There will be lots of food.
This meeting will take place concurrently with bargaining. Therefore the SC may have to move depending on how bargaining develops on that day.
