At this Special General Membership Meeting, the employer’s ‘final offer’ will be presented to the membership, who will vote to accept or reject it.
This meeting will take place in the main gym of the Tait McKenzie Centre. Please enter through the East door if possible (there will be signs). Members with mobility needs should enter through the main doors and approach the Client Services desk for access to the lift.
Sign-in and lunch: 11:30 am
Presentation: 12 pm
Voting: 1-3 pm
Should the offer be rejected, discussion on what comes next will follow. Any decision to call a strike will come from the membership. Please note that it is hard to tell how long the meeting will run because it is dependent on the outcome of the vote.
