10 Minutes Of Action For 10 Paid Sick Days And Safer Workplaces For All — April 28th, 2021

Mourn the Dead, Fight for the Living!

What is #10for10?

#10for10 is a 10 minute coordinated workplace action demanding 10 paid sick days and safer working conditions for everyone in Ontario.

What does that look like?

Workers find different ways to take 10 minutes of action on April 28th, the Day of Mourning, that would be catered to specific workplaces and job types. Stopping work to hold a long moment of silence, taking a break, holding a banner, wearing black – as coworkers and communities YOU decide what is achievable.

What if I won’t be at work during the action?

That’s okay! You can still take action to support #10for10 and the call for paid sick days and safer workplaces. You could signal boost and amplify the actions, call conservative MPP’s, put a sign in your window, stand outside with a sign, chalk on the sidewalk, post to social media, etc.
