As there are still bargaining proposals to be approved in order to be ready for bargaining, a Special General Membership Meeting has been called for Thursday, October 12, 5pm.
Voting on proposals is an important part of open bargaining, and ensures that the issues that affect you in the workplace are represented at the bargaining table.
There will be ample food, refreshments, and tokens.
While we recognize that this SGMM coincides with Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah, the urgency of approving bargaining proposals before the Oct 16 bargaining meeting means that we must proceed. We attempted to find a room on five other days before this date but the university was not able to accommodate us.
