First Bargaining Meeting

At this first bargaining meeting, we will be presenting our bargaining direction to the employer, thus setting the tone and the priorities for the bargaining round to come. Bargaining will begin at 1:00 pm, with a pre-meeting at noon.

Please come to this meeting and show support for the bargaining team! A packed room also shows the employer that we take bargaining seriously.

CUPE 3903 operates under the principle of open bargaining. This means that all members are encouraged to attend any and all bargaining meetings to observe, pass notes to the bargaining team, and participate in bargaining team caucuses.

As there are still bargaining proposals to be approved in order to be ready for bargaining, a Special General Membership Meeting has been called for Thursday, October 5, time and location TBC.

Voting on proposals is an important part of open bargaining, and ensures that the issues that affect you in the workplace are represented at the bargaining table.

There will be ample food, refreshments, and tokens.
