About the Fund
The Strike Hardship Fund is intended to offset any hardship incurred by the strike by supplementing strike pay. This could include, but is not limited to, funds to help cover the cost of winter clothing, transportation and/or childcare during the strike, food, rent, etc., if your pay has decreased. Please state briefly your reasons for applying and include basic financial information, employment status and strike information. Please attach any new receipts or cost estimates that you may have.
Each member can get a maximum of $500. The funds are limited and will be distributed based on need.
How to apply
Complete the Strike Hardship Fund application UPDATED (click link to download) and email it to email@example.com or drop it off at strike headquarters, 45 Four Winds Drive, Unit D. You can also pick up a hard copy there, if you wish.
