On Friday, December 11, 2015 our bargaining team met with York University representatives for the third time.
We have have begun the “sign off” process in which both sides discover articles of agreement. Much of this work will be accomplished in the next one or two meetings. Nothing firm regarding contract appointments or wages has been discussed. CUPE 3903, however, has provided language laying the groundwork for negotiation on specific issues in upcoming talks.
Information gathered through our informal survey and concerns discussed on our listserv will assist us in focusing the priorities of negotiation. Thanks to all.
Copies of the agreements will be made available to Unit 4 members through yorku-ptlibs@googlegroups.com as they are amended.
The bargaining teams will meet again, Monday, December 14 in Ross S822, 12:30-4:30pm. Please note, these are open negotiations and members are encouraged to attend.
