Some departments have been telling members that their health benefits would expire at the end of August if they do not have a contract this summer.
We have confirmed that this is inaccurate: health benefit coverage will be extended to the end of September for all members who had a contract in the winter term. Starting next year, health benefit coverage will be extended five months after the end of any contract.
