The position of Recording Secretary (non-voting) has become vacant on the Bargaining Team. At an upcoming meeting (details TBA), the Executive Committee will appoint a member in good standing to fill the position on a pro-tem basis.
In keeping with the bylaws, this position will be advertised as vacant for the agenda of the next General Membership Meeting (details TBA), where nominations will be opened and elections held as per Article 14 (Elections). At this point, the Election Officers will initiate an election process.
The responsibilities of the Recording Secretary (non-voting) of the Bargaining are described in Article 17 (Bargaining) of the bylaws.
Members in good standing and of any unit who are interested in filling the position of Recording Secretary (non-voting) on the Bargaining Team should email their name, unit and contact details to the Recording Secretary of the Executive Committee at recsec.cupe3903@gmail.com.
